Abigail Fraser

Portland Based Artist - Painter

Abigail Fraser is a Portland-
based artist whose work explores
the beauty of connection,
memory, and presence through
acrylic paint, Indian ink, and pen.
With over fifteen years of formal
training in the fine arts, a degree
in Art History with a drawing
emphasis, and a Master’s in Art
Education from Portland State
University, Fraser brings both
technical skill and thoughtful
reflection to her creative practice.
Her artistic journey has evolved
through a wide range of styles
and seasons, yet remains
grounded in a consistent pursuit:
capturing the significance of
people and moments. In her
current series, Fraser turns her
focus to still life—rendering
everyday objects as quiet
monuments to joy, creativity, and
healing. Each piece serves as a
symbolic tribute to her
community, celebrating the often-
overlooked details that spark
meaningful human experience.
A former art educator within
Portland Public Schools and the
Reynolds District, Fraser is

deeply committed to fostering
creativity in others. Her belief in
the transformative power of art is
rooted in personal
experience—painting and
drawing have served as vital
tools for navigating a lifelong
journey with anxiety. Her work,
both in the studio and the
classroom, reflects a dedication
to cultivating spaces where
expression, vulnerability, and
imagination can thrive.

Myra Eden

Yoga & Wellness leader - Eden Yoga & Wellness Studio

I teach yoga with presence, compassion, and purpose—rooted in over a decade of personal practice and a background in education. After years of teaching in public schools, I shifted my path to focus fully on yoga and wellness, driven by a deep calling to support healing and growth in more embodied, heart-centered ways.

My classes blend mindfulness, breathwork, and trauma-informed movement to create a space where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to show up just as they are. With my own lived experience of healing from trauma, I lead with sensitivity, choice, and respect for each person’s unique journey.

Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned student, I offer practices that balance strength with softness, and support growth from the inside out.

Outside the studio, I find peace in nature, hiking, and quiet moments at home with my pets (dog and two cats) & loved ones. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to connection, curiosity, and creating space for meaningful transformation—on and off the mat.

linda ANN michelle melton

Portland Based Artist - Painter

Michelle is an impressionistic painter and devoted yoga teacher whose art explores the meeting point between light, emotion, and memory. Guided by mindfulness and a deep sensitivity to the world around her, Michelle captures fleeting moments on canvas—those quiet, luminous instants that remind us of our shared humanity. Her paintings radiate with color and movement, translating feeling into form and transforming ordinary experiences into meditations on beauty and impermanence.
Balancing two creative paths, Michelle approaches both painting and yoga as practices of presence. Her brushwork is fluid and intuitive, echoing the rhythm of breath and the flow of energy that she teaches in her yoga classes. Each canvas becomes a space for stillness and self-discovery—a visual reflection of the same awareness that yoga cultivates in body and mind. Through her art, Michelle invites viewers to pause, to feel, and to reconnect with the light that exists both within and around them.
Inspired by nature, travel, and the subtle poetry of daily life, Michelle paints not just what she sees, but what she senses. Her impressionistic style allows emotion to lead the way, often layering color and texture to evoke the softness of memory or the vibrancy of a passing moment. The result is work that feels deeply personal yet universally resonant—a celebration of light, transformation, and the timeless beauty of the present.

kathi hare

Portland Based Artist - Painter

Kathi Hare is a self-taught Indigenous Indian-Mexican artist whose work bridges heritage, resilience, and personal expression. As a third-generation immigrant and a disabled woman in her sixties, Kathi creates with raw honesty and intuitive vision, transforming her life experiences into vibrant, emotionally charged art. Each piece reflects not only her cultural lineage but also her ongoing journey of healing, empowerment, and transformation.
Without the influence of formal training, Kathi has cultivated a distinctive style rooted in instinct and storytelling. Her art weaves together elements of her Indigenous and Mexican heritage—bold color, symbolic imagery, and ancestral motifs—with contemporary explorations of identity, memory, and strength. Through her paintings, she honors the resilience of those who came before her while reclaiming her own narrative as a woman who has faced and transcended adversity.
Kathi’s work is deeply personal yet universally resonant, celebrating cultural memory while inviting reflection on belonging, survival, and self-discovery. Every canvas is an act of reclamation—a testament to creativity as resistance and art as a sacred expression of life. Working primarily from her home studio, Kathi continues to explore how art can heal, connect, and give voice to the stories that too often go untold.

JESS SPAIN

ARTIST, Yoga TEACHER  & WELLNESS TEACHER

I am a Portland Oregon Indigenous (Cow-Creek Umpqua enrolled) spiritualist & reiki Ushi master, mindfulness teacher and astrologer.

I started my esoteric dabbles as a child and they have grown to be a part of who I am now.  Prior to Covid, I was a counselor for several years where I developed my own group curriculum focused on mindfulness, DBT skills, and emotional intelligence.  I graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in psychology and a minor in child and family studies.  My focus as a counselor was in the Indigenous community in my area. I am also a level II Reiki practitioner, sound healer and a certified yoga (200hr) instructor, and I have been a formal meditation student since 2020 with ongoing training and education in mindfulness and meditation. I attended the Nightlight Astrology School in 2021 for Hellenistic Astrology and have found such joy in diving into birth charts in congruence with healing work and guiding others. Two Moons Wellness has been my way to meld my culture, my educational background and my esoteric studies into one. Uniting the body, mind and spirit again with universal flow.

I believe in the transformative power of introspection like shadow work with the grounding of mindfulness to fully help others find their higher selves. I have applied these to my own life with mindfulness training and the results have been inner peace, tranquility and serenity I did not think was possible. I hope to bring these enlightening tools to others and help them to also find some peace in this life. One of my greatest teachers said, "The only way out is in."
